Project Organization

AMPROSSEC is organised into a structured set of Work Packages (WPs) that guide the development, integration, scale-up, and dissemination of advanced solid-state battery technologies for automotive applications.
WP1 — Cathode processing

Functionalization of NMC cathode material to enable electrode manufacturing through water-based slurry processing.

WP2 — Solid-state electrolyte formulation

Development of polymer electrolytes via photo- or thermo-induced polymerization, targeting an injectable solid electrolyte with wider electrochemical stability and high ionic conductivity.

WP3 — Anode development

Development and optimization of the anode configuration based on anode-free and lithium metal architectures.

WP4 — Scale-up of processing methods

Integration of the results from WP1, WP2, and WP3 to fabricate an all-solid-state battery with a capacity of 1–3 Ah.

WP5 — Prototype scale-up

Fabrication of a first prototype pouch cell with a capacity of 10 Ah, building on the outcomes of the previous Work Packages.

WP6 — Dissemination and intellectual property

Dissemination of research activities and management and protection of intellectual property generated by the project results.
